April runs
The warm weather is finally peaking it’s head in Oxford☀️
This weekend finally feels like spring if not summer with the sun out and the flowers blooming throughout the city! It’s been about 3 weeks since I’ve been back from Japan and I’ve gotten to do a lot over the weekends after finally recovering from some serious jet lag!
I went folk dancing with my housemates on the first weekend at an old church in Jericho which was loads of fun :) Live music was played by a local band, people from various backgrounds and age groups were there, and it was 3 hours of non-stop dancing and hopping which I truly enjoyed!
The following weekend, I went on a long Saturday walk with Gail through the university park and got some bubble tea on the way :) It was a good de-stressing walk for the both of us and I’m glad I have a friend I can enjoy elongated walks with because it is one of my favorite weekend activities. I also headed to Kylan’s that same night since we were heading to London the following morning to cheer on his mom at the London marathon! We spent all day cheering on his mom and other participants passing in front of us which was a lot of fun! We also saw the elite runners, and I spotted some Japanese runners as well :)
All in all it’s been good being back and I hope May is even better!
