This is one of the most painful but moving books I’ve read so far. A true story told by the author herself, she unfolds the struggles of being raised in a Mormon family and the sacrifices she had to take to make her life her own.

This book will be great company for your next summer getaway! A beautiful story about 17 year old Elio and house guest Oliver as they spend the summer holiday under the Italian sun; a summer which they’ll remember for the rest of their lives.

If you’re fond of diving into one character’s journey of tracing her roots to live a brighter life, you have to read this book. It touched my heart and hope it touches yours too!
